Athab Al-Tilawa (عذب التلاوة) is a digital platform for competitions in the recitation, tajweed and memorisation of the Holy Qur’an, in meaningful nasheed, and in the memorisation and narration of the noble Prophetic hadith. The platform operates under the sponsorship of Jordan Television and the Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Our mission
To serve the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet ﷺ with a stage that discovers and nurtures talent, judges every entry fairly and transparently, and brings people of the Qur’an, nasheed and hadith to a wide audience.
What we offer
- Qur’an competitions: in recitation, tajweed and memorisation, for several age groups, in person and remotely.
- Nasheed competitions: for voices that carry good words and a meaningful message.
- Prophetic hadith competitions: in memorising and narrating the hadith and understanding their meanings.
- A clear path to take part: one registration with your phone number, online applications, and live tracking of your application until the results are announced.
- Daily services for every visitor: prayer times, the qibla direction, the Hijri calendar and the Beautiful Names of Allah.
How the competitions work
- Each competition is announced on the platform with its tracks, conditions and dates.
- Participants register, apply, and upload a recorded recitation or performance when their track asks for one.
- The committee reviews the applications, and participants are judged in remote or in-person rounds against published criteria.
- The results are announced on the platform and the winners are honoured.
